Graduated HS, Wann, Ok. 1968. Started at NEO that year. Not much to tell, I didn't stay long as I was drafted in April 1969, however instead of going to the Army, I enlisted in the US Navy.

Bio - Tell us your story!

I am a mother to three wonderful children. I have been married since 2010 and we have 2 dogs, one a Boston Terrier and a Border Collie mix. I went back and got my high school diploma through Graduation Alliance and came to NEO after finishing my high school diploma in three months. There were some ups and downs while with NEO but I can say with the help from my success coordinator, Kim Smith, I made it through those hard times and I came out with this degree. I have moved on to SNHU to get my bachelors and masters in Psychology with a concentration on forensic psychology. I enjoyed my time with NEO and will miss the staff that helped me get to where I am now. I can say I am one lucky person to have NEO and their amazing staff. I can't wait to update you on future adventures and will be keeping in touch with you all. Racheal

Bio - Tell us your story!
Graduated NEO in 1979, did not complete the Aviation curriculum then but over the years, I have managed to complete all the required courses in the curriculum. Although I did not become a commercial airplane pilot, I did have a wonderful career in the Federal Aviation Administration. Since I do not hold an FAA medical certificate, I cannot be an airplane pilot, but I would like to finish my Glider training and be certified as a commercial glider pilot. When I do become an FAA certified commercial glider pilot, I would like to reenroll at NEO and see if I can be awarded credit through the Advance Standing program. Just a dream, but it has been my desire since my NEO days.

I was a student for two years and involved in everything to do with the band when it was much larger than it currently is. We were very active. Our music practice in the band room at 1:00 every day and Monday through Thursday our marching practice was at 6:00 and would go at least an hour, to an hour and a half. We loudly marched to the practice field every evening, and on Fridays marched around the campus for our pep rallies. We had a new halftime show for every home game. During basketball season I was also in the pep band. I may not have been a great student but I learned a LOT during my time at NEO! Row-Norse-Row!

Bio - Tell us your story!
I started NEO in the fall of 2007. I didn't know anyone when I arrived on campus but quickly made lots of friends by joining clubs. While I was a business major, one of my more impactful instructors was Mr. Webster for Comp I & II. I give him a lot of credit for my writing career. Of course, I had lots of good instructors that helped shape my knowledge and enabled me to acquire good skills. My favorite memories of NEO are from the clubs I was in. I especially enjoyed whenever we got to eat a free lunch during a club meeting or travel someplace cool. I was an officer in Phi Theta Kappa and College Republicans. Additionally, I was active in the BCM, and History and Business clubs. A couple of my more memorable experiences include traveling to Philadelphia with PTK for the 2008 National Conference and visiting Glorietta, New Mexico, for a week in the summers of 2008 and 2009 with the BCM. I graduated with my associates in 2009 and completed my bachelor's degree at NSU in 2011.
